The US universities and institutions offer very good education and Study Programs. The accredited US education is recognized everywhere in the world. PROGRAMS
Associate Degree: This degree is awarded by college or university to students on successful completion of two year full time program.
Bachelor’s Degree: The bachelor’s degree is given by a college or university after the successful completion of a 4 year full time program. The most common baccalaureates degrees are Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).
Master’s Degree: The Academic Master’s degrees include Master of Arts (M.A.) and Master of Science (M.S.) degrees are generally granted in the traditional arts, sciences and humanities disciplines. The M.S. is also granted in technical areas like engineering and agriculture. Professional degree programs are terminal and after completion of this degree you can enter a particular profession and you can’t pursue doctoral degree. The duration of these programs varies from 1.5 to 2 years.
The PhD: This degree is granted to the students who accomplish significant research work which is original, prepare a thesis about the research, face the panel of experts and defend their work successfully. This may take an additional 2 to 3 years.
TUITION FEES
Tuition fee of State universities is cheaper than private universities but students from other countries and states have to pay more fee as they are considered out of state residents. The students from state in which the institution is located have to pay fewer fees.
Private University Tuition fees are generally higher than state universities but state and non-state residents are not differentiated for charging fees. Therefore, an international student generally has to pay same amount for both State and Private Universities and Colleges.
FUNDING
Undergraduate Students may get funding in the form of scholarships. These can be of the following types:

MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS - This is given to students for their academic achievements irrespective of their financial situation.

NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS - It is for financially weak students but academic achievement is also taken into consideration while granting this scholarship.
- ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS – This is given to students with significant achievement in sports.
Graduate students funding can be in the form of Fellowships, Scholarships, Graduate, Research Assistantships and Teaching, Tuition Waiver and Institutionally-Sponsored Loans but the amount of funding can vary from university to university.
