Yes, it might be possible for one to continue stay in the UK after completing studies for work experience or practical training. A person may also be allowed to continue with his/her stay in the UK as per the 'Innovators Scheme'. But most of the time it is very difficult to continue staying in the UK after completing your studies as per the 'full work permit scheme'.
The UK government has made some changes in order to make it easier for the students to stay on in the UK to work. Meritorious students who are having a recognized degree in any course can be allowed to work permit employment in the UK after completing their studies which is Subject to meeting the certain criteria. An employer on behalf of a student can apply for his/her work permit without the need of the student to return home first. You can find more information about the current status of work permits on our website. Special provisions in terms of work permit are always applicable to doctors, dentists and nurses and these are anticipated to continue.
