1. Why to take PTE Academic?
PTE Academic is a new international computer-based academic English language test for non native speakers of English Language who intend to study in a country or Institution where English is the medium of Instruction
2. Who conducts PTE?
PTE Academic is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®), the reliable owners of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT®).
3. Which Institutions accept PTE Academic Score?

4. When should I take the PTE Test?
The PTE score is valid till 2 years, so you may take the test as early as you may like or whenever you feel prepared.
5. What is the cost to take PTE?
It costs USD 160 in India.
6. When will I get PTE results?
Your test results will be available to you within 5 business days.
7. How will my test scores be reported?
You will be notified about the availability of your test scores though e-mail within 5 business days from taking the test. You will be given a username and password to view your test scores online through a secure website. You are asked to select the institutions or agencies to which you like to send you official score reports. The scores are then delivered to the destination Institutions within 48 hours via score online score report.
8. What is the syllabus for PTE?
There is no fixed syllabus for PTE. It tests your skills in Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. In addition, it also assesses your fluency, grammar, pronunciation, spelling, Vocabulary and written discourse skills.
9. What is the mode of taking the test?
The test is computer based and thus all answers are given electronically.
